Generating Energy and Balance in the Workplace

  • Employee absence is a significant cost to 90% of businesses with 175 million working days lost (CBI)
  • The average sickness absence costs employers £659 per employee every year (CIPD)
  • Work-related stress accounts for more than a third of all new incidents of ill health (HSE)
  • Musculoskeletal disorders account for half of all workplace ill health costing UK plc approximately £5.7 million per year (HSE).

In association with our partners MAHL we have developed ‘Generating Energy and Balance in the Workplace‘, a workshop which provides the means of supporting your people before there is a problem.

Designed for managers and team leaders who support others in your company. The workshop enables delegates to work in small groups to look at the different ways they can improve and develop their work situation.

We offer a day in calm and pleasing surroundings to explore the areas that cause stress and can lead to days away from work.

Delegates will learn how to improve their personal resourcefulness and identify steps they can take to ensure that they are healthy at work and able to cope with the challenges and pressures of the workplace.

The business case for promoting and supporting employee health and wellbeing is becoming increasingly clear. Employers can gain clear benefits in reducing employee turnover and increasing the productivity and engagement of their employees.
